You have all been to the Theatre, this is your chance to find out what goes on behind the scenes to make the magic happen.

Bridlington Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society, is run by an enthusiastic and talented team of volunteers, both on and off stage.

B.A.O.D.S was formed in 1909 and offered the residents of Bridlington the opportunity to be involved with Amateur Theatre.
In 1999 the s

ociety had the ambition to own their own building and purchased with a loan a building in West Street. From then onwards the building slowly turned into the most wonderful intimate Theatre in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Its members perform Musicals, Plays Panto and a Fabulous summer season as well as bringing in cinema and touring shows.

It's an affordable Theatre too. We care about our community and visitors to Bridlington. Offering 83 comfortable raked seats, a bar, and the latest in theatrical lighting and sound.

Access

As this is a behind the scenes tour there will be steps and access to areas that are not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Additional Information

Max 12 people per tour/session.Tour will take one hour. Parking on West Street is limited to permit holders. There is parking in the Harbour Car Park and on Beck Hill.Contact for the day:Julie McPheat
