Beverley's famous High School, founded in 1908, opens its doors to show its history, buildings and educational provision.
Beverley High School this month celebrates 113 years of educating the girls of Beverley and surrounding villages. The school first opened in September 1908 within the grounds of Norwood House.
The original Edwardian building, largely hidden from street view, is an integral part of the modern school and boasts an oak panelled school hall with a balcony and ornate cornicing. A feature staircase leads to the upper floor and the building is adorned with sash windows.
Beverley High School has opened its doors in recent years, with displays and presentations about the school's history and notable alumni of the school.

Norwood House, a few doors away, used by the school for many years, is also open for Heritage Open Days.
