Beverley Minster has a quiet garden, a secret garden, and a new sanctuary garden. The quiet garden off Highgate is usually open for visitors, but the secret garden never is - even its location is a mystery. Take this chance!

The secret garden will be open this year for Heritage Open Days after undergoing some new developments. It is a haven for wildlife, a good place for a picnic, and to enjoy the peace and tranquillity. There will not be guided tours this year, instead, people will be on hand to answer your questions about plants and trees.

Entry via a narrow lane beside 24 Minstermoorgate. Entery and exit from Minstermoorgate: follow the arrows to the entrance.
